Your iPhone’s LED flash also functions as a flashlight with adjustable brightness. If you use your iPhone flashlight frequently, you might want to discover a new trick that allows you to turn on and adjust the brightness of your device’s flashlight in one continuous move.
How to adjust iPhone flashlight brightness
To switch on and change the strength of their iPhone’s flashlight, many Apple customers, especially rookie users, generally utilize the three-step procedure outlined below.
- Open the Control Center of your iPhone.
- To activate the function, tap the Flashlight icon in the Control Center.
- Hold the Flashlight icon in your hand until the slider appears, then drag it up or down. The brightness of the flashlight will be increased or decreased as a result of this action.
According to an Apple support page, you may turn on the flashlight and change the brightness in one continuous motion instead of the three-step method.
- On your iPhone, go to Control Center.
- Toggle the brightness slider up or down by touching and holding the Flashlight symbol.
And that’s how you change the brightness of your iPhone’s flashlight in a flash!
At night, you never know what you’ll see on the route.
To modify the brightness of the flashlight in the Control Center, touch and hold it. This is something I like.
As we showed in a previous post, you can also utilize your Apple Watch as a flashlight.
3 ways to turn on your device’s flashlight
Customers may now use the Siri speech assistant to switch on or off the iPhone flashlight as of iOS 12.
“Hey Siri, turn on my flashlight.”
“Hey Siri, will you turn on my flashlight?”
“Hey Siri, turn off my flashlight.”
Siri, on the other hand, cannot be used to change the brightness of the flashlight. Do not use highly precise voice commands like “Hey Siri, set the flashlight brightness to fifty percent,” since this will modify the brightness of your screen rather than the intensity of your flashlight.
Aside from Siri and Control Center, you can use your iPhone, iPad Pro, or iPod touch to access the flashlight by pushing firmly on the Flashlight symbol on the Lock screen on iPhone models that support 3D Touch (touch and hold the icon on non-3D Touch iPhones).
The Lock screen icon, on the other hand, is a simple toggle that cannot be held down to reveal the brightness slider. So, even if you activate the flashlight by pressing its symbol on the Lock screen, you’ll need to go into the Control Center to change the brightness.
The LED light on the back of your iOS smartphone may be programmed to blink whenever you get a new message or incoming call, in addition to lighting low-light scenes recorded with your iOS device’s camera and acting as a flashlight.
